Tuesday's Tip - HeritageQuest Training Materials

You may know that Heritage Quest is an online genealogical database that contains family and local histories, the complete U.S. Federal Census,  PERSI, the Revolutionary War Pension Applications & Bounty Land Warrant Applications, and the Freedman's Bank Records.

You may know that you can access it for free at your local library, and possibly from home if your library allows.

But did you know that ProQuest has some great training materials on the web? Go to:
and scroll down to the Genealogy section. I enjoyed the HeritageQuest Online FAQ and the HeritageQuest Sample Searches. You may also enjoy the HeritageQuest Online Database Guide.

Happy Reading!
